Lord of The Rings Extended Edition - The Fellowship of The Ring

The Dark Lord Sauron was defeated and thus, middle earth was able to enjoy peace and prosperity... however, the one ring that was forged by the dark lord still looms... and this ring binds the life force of the dark lord Sauron himself.

With this ring in hand... Sauron would once again.. have the power to take over middle earth and reign chaos upon all who oppose him.

The only thing is... the ring is in the hands of the most unlikely creature of all... a hobbit from the shire.

In order to save middle earth, the hobbit Frodo Baggins must now travel to Mordor and cast the ring back into the fires of Mount Doom for it is the only way that the ring can be destroyed... and with the ring destroyed.. so will Sauron's life force and ability to raise chaos.

Together with 8 other companions (2 Man, 1 Elf, 1 Dwarf, 1 Wizard, 3 other hobbits) a fellowship of the ring was formed... all with a single purpose in mind, to aid, protect and help Frodo Baggins on his journey to Mount Doom.

The dark lord however, wants his ring back... and has already send his army of ogres to recover it.

There are 2 version of the lord of the rings - Fellowship of the ring. One is the extended edition and the other, the theatrical edition.

For hardcore fans of the lord of the rings saga, the lord of the rings extended edition is by far, the better of the 2 as it contains extra footage that helps explain the movie in full.

In fact, the extended edition contains over 30 minutes of extra scenes into the movie. Most of these scenes are necessary to explain the "reasons" and the build up of the events.
