The Lord of The Rings - The Two Towers is the second part of the trilogy series of the lord of the rings movie series. It carries on where the fellowship of the ring had left off.
The Two Towers talks about the 2 mighty tower ruled and watch over by the dark lord Sauron and his puppet, Saruman the Wise.
Both of the towers stood facing 2 of man's greatest kingdom, one in Gondor and one, Rohan.
As Frodo and Sam continues their journey to Mount Doom... they came in contact with Gollum, the ring's previous owner, who promise to guide them to Mordor.
Meanwhile, Saruman has already gathered over 10,000 armies of orcs to tear down and destroy Rohan. Knowing that they can't beat the massive army of Saruman head on, the King of Rohan ordered a retreat of his people and army into helms deep, a fortress that is deemed formidable.
It is here that the people of Rohan make their last stand... and possibly the last time they'll see daylight...

The Lord of The Rings Extended Edition for The Two Towers contains over 43 minutes of extra footage as compared to the theatrical version.
This extra 43 minutes of footage doesn't waste any time nor movie space as they are essentially important to give you a more detail look into how the story develops.
Some of the more important scenes includes why Faramir, younger brother of the deceases Boromir, had such strain relationship with his father Denethor. This is crucially essential as the story is further brought into the last of the Trilogy - The Return of The King.
Of course, there will be some scenes included in this lord of the rings extended edition to be funny and tends to be on the lighter note to ease the mood and adventure.
